SUMMARY:DÍA INTERNACIONAL DEL PUEBLO GITANO
DESCRIPTION:El Ayuntamiento de Jaén\, el Patronato Municipal de Asuntos Sociales\, el Patronato Municipal de Cultura\, la Universidad de Jaén y las entidades que trabajan por los derechos y la visibilización del Pueblo Gitano en nuestra ciudad –Asociación de Mujeres Gitanas Sinando Kalí y Fundación Secretariado Gitano– nos unimos un año más para conmemorar el 8 de abril\, Día Internacional del Pueblo Gitano. \nEsta fecha recuerda el Primer Congreso Mundial Romaní/Gitano\, celebrado en Londres en 1971\, donde se instituyeron la bandera y el himno gitano. Para promover el reconocimiento de la historia\, identidad y cultura gitana\, celebraremos un acto con la participación de autoridades\, la emotiva “Ceremonia del Río” y la interpretación en directo del himno “Gelem-Gelem”\, a cargo del grupo Pellizco.
